asked May 29, 2022 in Pregnancy Period General by Innocentia
My period started on April 17th and we had sex on the same day and the next day. My periods stopped on April 18th and 19th, then came back on the 20th. They were normal until they stopped on April 27th. I had sex again from May 1st to May 4th, two weeks later I took a home pregnancy test which was negative. We continued having sex and now my period is late, it was due on May 18th-20th. Could I be pregnant and if so, how far along am I?

If your period is late and you have been sexually active, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. However, it's important to note that home pregnancy tests are not always accurate, especially if taken too early in the pregnancy. It's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for a more reliable pregnancy test or blood test.

Determining how far along you might be in your pregnancy can be challenging without more specific information or medical confirmation. Generally, doctors calculate pregnancy based on the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). However, irregular periods or spotting can make this calculation less precise.

To get a better understanding of your situation, it would be best to schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider. They will likely perform a physical examination, ask about your symptoms and medical history, and may order additional tests such as an ultrasound or blood work.

Remember that every woman's body is different, so it's essential to seek professional advice for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate guidance regarding your potential pregnancy.

Get a pregnancy kit... If postive you might be 2-3 week pregnant
