I have been experiencing pain during sex since the beginning of my pregnancy, and I have also noticed a significant decrease in my sex drive. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant. Is this a normal occurrence during pregnancy?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for women to experience pain and a decrease in sex drive during pregnancy. The changes happening in your body, such as increased blood flow to the pelvic area, hormonal fluctuations, and physical discomfort can contribute to these symptoms. Additionally, emotional factors like anxiety or concerns about harming the baby may also affect your desire for sexual activity. However, it is important to communicate with your healthcare provider about any concerns or persistent pain you may be experiencing. They can provide guidance on managing discomfort and offer suggestions for maintaining intimacy with your partner during this time.

I was like this with my daughter.  Ask your doctor at your next appt, because it could be something more serious.  Something as simple as a yeast infection can cause this.
