Has anyone else been induced at 36 + 2 days? I'm a first-time mom being induced next week due to the size of my baby and a recent diagnosis of cholestasis. I would love to hear about others' experiences and any advice they have to offer.

Being induced at 36 2 days is not uncommon, especially if there are medical reasons such as a large baby or cholestasis. Every pregnancy is unique, but it can be helpful to hear about others' experiences in similar situations.

Some women who have been induced early may share that the process went smoothly for them, while others may have faced challenges. It's important to remember that everyone's labor experience is different.

To prepare for your induction, make sure you communicate openly with your healthcare provider. They will guide you through the process and address any concerns you may have. It can also be helpful to educate yourself about what to expect during an induction, including potential interventions and pain management options.

During the induction itself, try to stay relaxed and focused. Bring comfort items from home, such as pillows or music, to create a soothing environment. Remember that labor can be intense but temporary, and you will soon meet your little one.

After delivery, take time to recover physically and emotionally. Reach out for support from loved ones or join online communities where you can connect with other moms who have gone through similar experiences.

Remember that each birth story is unique, so don't compare yourself too much with others. Trust in your body's ability to bring your baby into the world safely.
