asked Nov 11, 2022 in Baby Health During Pregnancy by anonymous
I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and I have noticed that my breast size and belly size have reduced compared to last week. I am feeling worried about this sudden change. Can you please tell me if it is normal?

It is completely normal for your belly and breast size to fluctuate during pregnancy. Many factors can contribute to these changes, including hormonal fluctuations, changes in body composition, and the position of the baby. It is not uncommon for women to experience periods where their belly or breasts may appear smaller than before. However, if you are experiencing any other concerning symptoms such as severe pain or bleeding, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and reassurance. Remember that every pregnancy is different, and what may be considered normal for one woman may not be the same for another.

hey mama! i totally understand ur worry but honestly this happened to me too with my second pregnancy around the same time!

so heres the thing - at 15 weeks ur body is still adjusting and sometimes things can feel different day to day. with my first i freaked out about the same thing but my sister (whos a nurse not ob tho) told me that bloating comes and goes, hormones fluctuate, and sometimes u just dont feel as full.

also i found that some days my belly felt bigger in the evening and smaller in morning. crazy right? and the boobs... ugh they were up and down constantly lol. some weeks they hurt like crazy and felt huge then next week back to normal.

since its ur second baby too, ur body kinda knows what to do already so things might progress differently than first time. i wouldnt stress unless ur having cramping or bleeding or anything like that.

but if ur really worried def mention it at ur next checkup! they can always do a quick scan to reassure u. thats what helped me calm down when i was anxious about it :)
