Can the sex of a baby be determined at 21 weeks during an ultrasound appointment?

I have an upcoming appointment tomorrow, August 30th, and I am currently 21 weeks pregnant. I'm unsure if I will be getting an ultrasound during this visit. If I do, is it possible for them to determine the sex of the baby at this stage?

Yes. They can typically tell by 16 weeks. However, when you get to far, say, 24+ weeks it gets difficult to tell
