I'm experiencing sharp pains during my first pregnancy, but I'm unsure about what pain relief options are safe for me and my baby. Can you suggest non-prescription remedies that can help alleviate the pain?

Tylenol like everyone said, but you really should go to the doctor you could have a bladder infection or something else. I was having really sharp pains that came and went and it ended up being a bladder infection.

Where is the pain? You can try natural essential oils like peppermint for headaches. Tylenol is usually considered safe as well.

Hey

Try to drink warm water

It will relax your muscles as they are stretching alot.

You can also take paracetamol if you are not able to bear the pain.

Paracetamol.. But if you need more that 4 grams in 24hrs then codeine.. but that needs a Dr to write it up in a few countries
