In my pregnancies the doctor would say, “Due around late April,” and my daughter arrived at 38+2 while my son hung out until 41 weeks. Most babies are born sometime between 37 and 42 weeks. A scan around 12 weeks helps fine‑tune the date a bit, but there’s still a margin of error.
