I am currently 14 weeks and 5 days pregnant, but I haven't noticed any changes in my stomach. Is this normal or should I be concerned? My last scan showed no problems with the baby, and I don't have any pain, but my appetite is low.

It is completely normal to not see significant changes in your stomach at 14 weeks of pregnancy. Every woman's body is different, and some may show more noticeable changes earlier than others. As long as your last scan showed no issues with the baby and you are not experiencing any pain, there is likely nothing wrong.

It is important to remember that every pregnancy is unique, and physical changes can vary from person to person. Some women may start showing a visible baby bump earlier, while others may take longer for their stomachs to grow noticeably. Factors such as body type, muscle tone, and the position of the uterus can all contribute to how quickly or slowly the stomach expands.

If you are concerned about the lack of visible changes in your stomach, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider. They will be able to assess your individual situation and provide reassurance or further guidance if needed.

As for your low appetite, it is also common during pregnancy for appetite levels to fluctuate. Hormonal changes can affect your sense of hunger and satiety. However, if you find that your low appetite persists or if you are unable to eat enough nutrients for both yourself and the baby, it would be advisable to discuss this with your healthcare provider. They can offer suggestions on how to ensure proper nutrition during this time.

Remember that each pregnancy journey is unique, so try not to compare yourself too much with others or worry unnecessarily about visible changes in your stomach. Focus on taking care of yourself by eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, getting regular exercise (if approved by your healthcare provider), and attending your prenatal appointments.
