Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Using Progeffik progesterone during the 6th month of a twin pregnancy is generally considered safe. Progesterone plays a crucial role in maintaining a healthy pregnancy, and supplementation may be necessary for some women. However, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any medication, including Progeffik. They will evaluate your specific situation and determine if it is appropriate for you. While rare, there may be potential risks or concerns associated with using progesterone in certain cases, such as allergic reactions or interactions with other medications. Your healthcare provider will consider these factors and provide guidance accordingly. It's essential to follow their instructions and attend regular prenatal check-ups to monitor the progress of your pregnancy.

I used progesterone suppositories on my first pregnancy but only in the first trimester because of some spotting, my doc took me off once my placenta took over. A friend of mine carried twins and her OB had her stay on it well into the 2nd trimester to support her cervix, she mostly just felt a bit sleepy and had some discharge. They weaned her off slowly around 24‑28 weeks. Every pregnancy is diff so you really don't wanna just start or stop any meds without your OB/midwife's guidance. It's worth chatting to them about any worries you have.
