I'm currently in my 5th week of pregnancy and my room is located upstairs. Is it safe for me to walk down the stairs slowly 3 to 4 times a day? I'm worried about this but living downstairs isn't an option for me.

During the first trimester of pregnancy, it is generally safe to walk downstairs as long as you do so slowly and carefully. However, it's important to listen to your body and consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns or medical conditions that may affect your ability to navigate stairs. If living downstairs isn't feasible for you, consider taking precautions such as using handrails, wearing supportive footwear, and avoiding carrying heavy loads while going up or down the stairs. It's always best to prioritize your safety and comfort during pregnancy.
