Is it normal to experience a thick white discharge during the 20th week of pregnancy? I am concerned about this symptom and would like to know if it is something to worry about or if it is considered normal.
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is common for pregnant women to experience changes in vaginal discharge throughout their pregnancy. During the 20th week, some women may notice a thick white discharge. This type of discharge is usually harmless and can be attributed to hormonal changes and increased blood flow to the vaginal area. However, if you are experiencing any discomfort, itching, or an unusual odor along with the discharge, it is important to consult your healthcare provider as these symptoms could be indicative of an infection. Your healthcare provider will be able to evaluate your symptoms and provide appropriate guidance or treatment if necessary. It's always best to reach out to your healthcare provider with any concerns during pregnancy for personalized advice and reassurance.

Completely normal and should actually get worse throughout your pregnany. Invest in pantry liners.  As long as it is clear or white, it is protecting your baby from bacteria getting to him/ her.  Congrats! Your body is doing exactly what it should do to help your baby grow and be healthy !

This will be my 3rd live birth (5 miscarriages) and I've had the same for every healthy pregnancy.
