I am in my 37th week of pregnancy, and despite avoiding salt and fried foods, my blood pressure remains high. What can I do to manage it effectively?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

High blood pressure during pregnancy, also known as gestational hypertension, can be concerning. While it is important to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice, there are several steps you can take to manage your high blood pressure. Firstly, ensure you are following a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Regular physical activity such as walking or swimming can also help regulate blood pressure levels. Additionally, make sure to attend all prenatal appointments and monitor your blood pressure at home if advised by your doctor. In some cases, medication may be necessary to control hypertension during pregnancy. Remember to communicate openly with your healthcare provider about any concerns or symptoms you experience.
