I am experiencing excessive vomiting after drinking water during my 10th week of pregnancy. How can I address this issue and ensure proper hydration?

    I had a stomach bug when I was pregnant before and had to go to hospital to have some fluids and also anti emetic (anti sickness) medication so that I could drink and eat. So consider contacting an on call Dr if u really aren't able to keep any fluid down

    So this is my 5th pregnancy and I've had hyperemisis gravidarium 4 times. This being one of them. At 33 weeks water is only just becoming manageable. Here is what I was told. 

    Drink what you can. Make drinks up with water but if water on its own is a problem leave it be. Add it into juice, cordial, squash etc. I found ice cubes completely manageable so I'd eat and suck those nearly all day. Ice lollies are another good source. 

    I must add I am on medication for my hyperemisis. Without it no fluids or solids stayed down. Look up hyperemisis gravidarium and also morning sickness and see which you align too. One needs more help than the other but neither are pleasant.
