How can I effectively manage morning sickness and alleviate scar pain during the first trimester of pregnancy?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Morning sickness, characterized by nausea and vomiting, is a common symptom experienced by many pregnant women. To manage morning sickness, try eating small, frequent meals throughout the day and avoid triggers such as strong smells or greasy foods. Ginger, lemon water, and acupressure wristbands may also provide relief. As for scar pain from a previous surgery or injury, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider to rule out any complications. They may recommend gentle stretching exercises or suggest over-the-counter pain relievers that are safe for pregnancy. Remember to always prioritize your health and reach out to your doctor for personalized advice.

Hello,

I had Hypermesis Gravidarum it was really bad up until I was almost into my third trimester. I had to eat less like small snacks throughout the day, I could not use peppermint toothpaste nor brush my teeth at night or in the morning. I had these bracelets called sea bands you can buy them off of Amazon and some stores like Walmart may carry them. I also ate ginger candy, hot tea with lemon occasionally. I couldn't drink Any soda. My go to drink was lemonade (mostly strawberry) water with sugar and lemon. I actually ended up losing weight for a while instead of gaining. It was extremely painful and I felt gross sometimes because I could only sit in a bathtub or shower with a shower chair. Otherwise, I'd fall or get too dizzy. This made me have very limited physical activity and definitely I could not cook. The smells were horrific and standing in the kitchen would exhaust me. Eventually I found that sour things like green apple jolly ranchers were my saving grace. I had to go to the ER a few times because i was extra dehydrated and needed fluids. Your body needs extra nutrients so I started drinking vitamin water and eventually water with a singles packet. Try light meals like toast. Don't consume too much red meat. A natural medicine that helps me even now is Vitamin B6 and a medicine I take at night to help me sleep and lower my nausea even today (31 weeks pregnant) doxylamine you can also buy this at Walmart. Try eating ice and popscicles too. Well best of luck to you! Prayers for a safe delivery
