I am currently 16 weeks and 5 days pregnant, which is equivalent to being in my 4th month. I have been experiencing stomach pain at night. Is this a normal symptom during pregnancy or should I be concerned?

It is not uncommon for pregnant women to experience stomach pain, including cramping or discomfort, especially as the uterus expands and the ligaments stretch. However, if the pain becomes severe, persistent, or is accompanied by other symptoms such as bleeding or fever, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider. They can evaluate your specific situation and provide appropriate guidance and treatment if necessary. In general, it is always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to any concerns during pregnancy.

I am 16 weeks pregnant and I get lower stomach pain at night. I noticed mine is my baby moving around. I have chrons and had a previous c-section and my appendix out. So I thought it was scar tissue or inflammation and the baby was hitting it. It's also your stomach growing and your uterus stretching.
