Is it possible for me to become pregnant if I ovulated on the 16th of August and had intercourse on the 14th of August, two days prior to ovulation?

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant if you had sex two days before ovulation. Sperm can survive inside a woman's body for up to five days, so if you had intercourse close to your ovulation date, there is a chance that sperm may still be alive when the egg is released. While the chances of conception are higher when intercourse occurs closer to ovulation, it is still possible for pregnancy to occur even with a two-day gap. It's important to remember that every woman's cycle is different, and factors such as sperm health and fertility can also play a role in determining the likelihood of pregnancy. If you are trying to conceive or concerned about pregnancy, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

It is very possible, sperm can survive about 5-7 days after unprotected sex. A text may not indicate a positive result until a couple of days before you miss your period, mine didn't indicate until almost a week after I missed mine. You may be able to get the blood test at your doctor's office for sooner results.
