What are the factors that contribute to the likelihood of developing polyhydramnios during pregnancy, and what should I do if I am diagnosed with it?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Polyhydramnios is a condition characterized by an excessive amount of amniotic fluid in the womb. While it can be concerning, there are various factors that contribute to its development. These include gestational diabetes, multiple pregnancies, fetal abnormalities, and certain maternal health conditions. If you have been diagnosed with polyhydramnios, it is important to work closely with your healthcare provider to monitor your condition and manage any underlying causes. Treatment options may include medication, drainage procedures, or early delivery in severe cases. Regular prenatal check-ups and open communication with your healthcare team will help ensure the best possible outcome for both you and your baby.

Hi make..blood sugar test first..check whether your sugar levels are high..stop eating sugary foods and fruits..which raise blood sugar levels..

Limit the quantity of rice..eat pulkas or jonna roti..

Limit the intake of high carbohydrates..

This way aminotic fluid levels can be controlled

From increasing more.

Eat fiber rich..protein rich food.

I had this problem..and I have controlled it through diet.So be careful..
If afi levels increase there is chance that baby consumes aminotic fluid at the time of delivery and there will be so much blood loss which is a risk for baby is what my doctor said.

Consult your doctor once..regarding this.
