I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant and experiencing slight body and head ache, along with a body temperature of 98.8°F. Should I consider this as a fever or is it within the normal range for pregnancy?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

During pregnancy, it is common for your body temperature to slightly increase due to hormonal changes and increased blood flow. A normal body temperature ranges between 97°F and 99°F, so a reading of 98.8°F falls within the normal range. However, if you are experiencing persistent or severe symptoms such as high fever (above 100.4°F), chills, or other signs of illness, it is important to consult your healthcare provider for further evaluation. They can assess your symptoms in the context of your pregnancy and provide appropriate guidance or treatment if necessary. It's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to your health and the health of your baby during pregnancy.

No, that is within normal fluctuating temperature range. It you get to 100.4 then, yes that is a fever.
