If you have missed your periods and pregnancy tests are showing negative results, it can be quite confusing and worrisome. However, there could be several reasons for a missed period other than pregnancy. Stress, hormonal imbalances, changes in weight or exercise routine, or certain medications can all affect your menstrual cycle.

Since you mentioned that your baby is 8 months old and still breastfeeding, it's important to note that breastfeeding can also impact your menstrual cycle. Breastfeeding releases a hormone called prolactin which suppresses ovulation and can cause irregular periods or even the absence of periods altogether.

If you are concerned about the possibility of being pregnant despite the negative test results, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional. They may recommend additional tests or examinations to determine the cause of the missed periods and any accompanying symptoms.

In the meantime, keep track of any changes in your body and monitor your symptoms closely. If you continue to experience nausea or other discomforting symptoms, it's important to discuss them with your healthcare provider as well.

Remember that every individual is unique, so it's essential to seek personalized medical advice from a professional who has access to your complete medical history. They will be able to provide you with accurate information and guidance based on your specific circumstances.

Hi there, I have unfortunately had similar issues in the past multiple times. I had all of the symptoms of my husband and I were trying to conceive. But every time I was negative. My OGYN told me that I could have been infertile. At the moment I'm praying I'm pregnant because I've taken 4 pregnancy tests even different brands, different times of the day and they all showed positive. I have always had really bad anxiety and dealt with depression. These can put many strains on the body including missed periods or trouble conceiving. My suggestion is make sure you aren't using any dangerous medications or substance abuse at all and if you can go to a hospital and have them do a blood test. I'm about to do that myself because home tests can be finicky. I wish you the best of luck and pray everything's ok!
