What are the important safety measures that pregnant women should take during the lunar eclipse on 26th May to ensure their well-being and the health of their unborn child?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Pregnant women should take certain precautions during a lunar eclipse to ensure their well-being and the health of their unborn child. Firstly, it is important to stay indoors and avoid direct exposure to the moon's rays. This can be achieved by closing curtains or blinds and staying away from windows. Additionally, pregnant women should refrain from consuming any food or water during the eclipse period as there is a belief that it may have harmful effects on the baby. It is also advisable to avoid any strenuous physical activity or stress during this time. Lastly, seeking medical advice from a healthcare professional is recommended to address any concerns or doubts regarding the impact of a lunar eclipse on pregnancy. Remember, these precautions are based on cultural beliefs and traditions, but there is no scientific evidence supporting any harmful effects of a lunar eclipse on pregnant women or their babies.
