When is the ideal week for a normal delivery during pregnancy?

I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with my first child. What is the optimal week for a normal delivery?

40 weeks is the correct week your little one will enter the world! But with your first you may go a few days or a week or 2 over due. If that ever happens your doctor will end up inducing you to help get that baby out!
