asked Feb 9, 2021 in Pregnancy Period General by anonymous
My period was late last month and this month I haven't had it yet. I've been experiencing severe vomiting, headaches, leg pain, and a slight temperature. Doctors have suggested taking a pregnancy test. What could be the cause of these symptoms? Can anyone provide some guidance?

If your period is late and you're experiencing symptoms like severe vomiting, headaches, leg pain, and a slight temperature, it's possible that you could be pregnant. These symptoms can sometimes indicate early pregnancy. Taking a pregnancy test is the best way to confirm whether or not you are pregnant. It's important to follow your doctor's advice and take the test as soon as possible. If the test comes back positive, make an appointment with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and guidance on next steps. If the test is negative but your symptoms persist or worsen, it's recommended to consult with your doctor to determine the underlying cause of these symptoms.

Well the bleeding on the 22nd of Jan could've been implantation bleeding, typically that is shorter (only a few days) and darker in color (more of a brownish instead of the normal red). So if it was indeed implantation bleeding than your previous period would've been your last menstrual period and the pregnancy test would be accurate. Take a test! Give it a shot!
