asked Feb 9, 2021 in Baby Health During Pregnancy by Terica
At 16 weeks and 2 days, my baby had an irregular heartbeat. What does this mean? Is it normal or should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is not uncommon for babies to have occasional irregular heartbeats during pregnancy. However, if you notice persistent irregularities or other concerning symptoms, it is important to consult your healthcare provider. They can perform further tests and provide appropriate guidance based on your specific situation.

Hi,

My waters broke at 34 weeks, when they monitored baby they picked up an irregular heartbeat. The midwives and drs were not concerned. Baby arrived 5 days later and the irregular heartbeat has corrected itself
