asked Feb 2, 2021 in Baby Health During Pregnancy by anonymous
I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and have not felt any movement from the baby yet. Should I be concerned? This is my first pregnancy and I am feeling anxious about it.
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is common for first-time mothers to not feel their baby's movements until around 20-25 weeks of pregnancy. However, if you are concerned or experiencing other symptoms, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider. They can provide reassurance and perform necessary tests to ensure everything is progressing well. Remember that every pregnancy is different, and some women may feel movements earlier or later than others. As your baby continues to grow, you will start noticing more pronounced movements in the coming weeks.

I'm on my first pregnancy as well. 38 weeks along. I didn't really feel anything until week 24 I started feeling soft movements like bubbles. Every pregnancy is different you might feel movements sooner or later than I did. As long as the doc says your fine and the baby is fine nothing to worry about.

Every pregnancy is different. I'm in my first pregnancy currently 37 weeks and started feeling little movements at 18 weeks, I honestly thought I was just feeling things until I seen my baby moving on the sonogram and felt the movement too.
