I am currently 6 weeks 4 days pregnant and had a vaginal scan that revealed a small gestational sac, yolk sac, and a Singleton fetal pole with slow cardiac flutter. Can you provide urgent help and information about what this may indicate for my first baby?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

At 6 weeks 4 days of pregnancy, the presence of a small gestational sac, yolk sac, and Singleton fetal pole with slow cardiac flutter can be concerning. It is important to note that every pregnancy is unique, and it's best to consult with your healthcare provider for an accurate assessment. However, these findings could potentially indicate an early-stage pregnancy or an impending miscarriage. Slow cardiac flutter may suggest a potential issue with the development of the fetal heart. Your healthcare provider will likely recommend follow-up scans to monitor the progress of your pregnancy and determine if any intervention is needed. It's essential to stay in close communication with your healthcare team for guidance and support during this time.
