I am currently in my 9th week of pregnancy after experiencing a miscarriage at 5 weeks. During a recent check-up, the doctor said everything was fine. However, I have taken multiple pregnancy tests that are still showing negative results. Should I be concerned? Can someone please provide guidance and reassurance?

It is understandable to feel worried and concerned when you are not getting a positive pregnancy test result at 9 weeks, especially after experiencing a previous miscarriage. However, it is important to remember that every woman's body is different and may respond differently to hormone levels.

There could be several reasons why you are not getting a positive result on your pregnancy tests. Firstly, it is possible that the hormone levels in your body have not yet reached the threshold required for detection on a home pregnancy test. In some cases, it can take longer for hormone levels to rise after a miscarriage.

Another possibility is that the quality or sensitivity of the pregnancy tests you are using may vary. Some tests are more sensitive than others and can detect lower levels of hormones earlier in the pregnancy. It might be worth trying different brands or consulting with your healthcare provider about more accurate testing options.

Additionally, factors such as improper usage of the test (not following instructions correctly), dilution of urine (drinking excessive fluids before testing), or testing too early in the day when hormone levels may be lower can also affect the accuracy of the results.

If you are still concerned about your situation, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider. They can perform blood tests to measure specific hormone levels accurately and provide further insight into your situation.

Remember that stress and anxiety can also impact hormone levels and delay menstrual cycles, so try to stay calm while awaiting further medical advice.

I did my test a few days ago and it had a faint positive, so try it in a couple of weeks.

You can wait a few weeks try again but if that still doesnt show Id get a blood test. With my 3rd pregnancy I never showed positive on a PT but did on blood test so dont get worried stress is not good for you at this time.
