How can I determine if I have healed properly after experiencing a tear during childbirth? What signs should I look for?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

After experiencing a tear during childbirth, it is important to ensure proper healing. Signs of proper healing include reduced pain and discomfort, absence of infection symptoms, improved mobility, and the closure of the tear. Regular check-ups with your healthcare provider are crucial to monitor your healing progress. If you experience persistent pain, unusual discharge or bleeding, or any concerns about your healing process, it is essential to seek medical advice promptly. Your healthcare provider will be able to assess your condition and provide appropriate guidance and treatment if necessary. Remember that every woman's healing process may vary, so it's important to listen to your body and consult with a healthcare professional for personalized care.

Best not to assume that you have healed. Mine tore all the way up. I took care of it for 44 days (my culture's timeline for pospartum healing), sprayed daily with witchazel and herbal water every toilet visit. The doctor will usually check on the stitches and inform you if it has healed. We cannot judge on our own :)
