I'm currently 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant, but my E.P scanning shows that the corresponding baby growth is only at 6 weeks and 2 days. I'm feeling worried, even though the doctor didn't mention any concerns about the growth. Is this level of growth delay normal in early pregnancy scans?

Yes. Normal. Before a dating scan Pregnancy is estimated based on your last menstrual period but or when you think you ovulated but because there is no way to know exactly when you conceived (could be 1-5 days after ovulation), the most accurate way to determine the baby's gestational age is an ultrasound. You likely ovulated and conceived much later in your cycle than you thought. Congratulations!!!

You must have just conceived a few days later than you originally thought, no big deal
