asked Apr 12, 2020 in Baby Health During Pregnancy by anonymous
My baby's movements have slowed down since Thursday, and yesterday I hardly felt any movement. I am currently 22 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Is this a normal occurrence?

It is common for baby movements to fluctuate throughout pregnancy, including periods of reduced activity. At 22 weeks, your baby is still small enough to change positions and hide behind the placenta, making their movements less noticeable. However, if you are concerned about the decrease in movement or if it persists for more than a day or two, it is important to contact your healthcare provider. They can perform an ultrasound or monitor the baby's heartbeat to ensure everything is okay. Remember that every pregnancy is different, so trust your instincts and seek medical advice when needed.

You should feel your baby move everyday several times per day. You may want to be checked by your doctor
