When should I take a pregnancy test if my last period was on January 2, 2020 and it has been 35 days with a negative result?

My last period was on January 2, 2020 and it has been 35 days since then. I have taken a pregnancy test but it came back negative. When should I take another test to be sure?

My last period was 11 jan 2020. And I had positive test yesterday. It depends when you ovulated.

I took mine yesterday and got a big fat positive but my last period was the 4th of January 2020...I think you should take now or better do a blood test
