I am actively trying to conceive and would like to know how I can determine if implantation has occurred before a missed period. Can you provide me with some guidance on this?

For me I got a very light spotting. Also, all three pregnancies I had pretty sharp stabbing pains in my abdomen located on one side specifically. It lasted an hour or two and then stopped. Another thing I noticed before I took my pregnancy tests was a very thick discharge.
