Hi moms, I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and have noticed some spotting. I went to see my doctor who performed several tests and scans, assuring me that my baby is perfectly fine. However, he prescribed a drip and injection for the spotting that occurs after urinating. Should I be reassured by the treatment and rest or should I still be concerned about the well-being of my baby? Your responses are greatly appreciated.
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It's understandable to be concerned when experiencing spotting during pregnancy. However, it's reassuring that your doctor has conducted tests and scans, confirming that your baby is healthy. The prescribed treatment aims to address the spotting after urination, providing additional support for your peace of mind. Resting as advised by your doctor can also help alleviate any potential stress or strain on your body. While it's always important to stay vigilant during pregnancy, you can take comfort in knowing that medical professionals have assessed your situation and provided appropriate care. If you have any further concerns or notice any changes in symptoms, don't hesitate to reach out to your healthcare provider for guidance and reassurance.

I have never went through a spotting stage but I have heard from other moms that spotting is completely normal. It's when you have blood clots that you should start to worry and go in
