5 weeks gestational sac low in uterus

Question

I had my first prenatal appointment today, the doctor said everything looked fine, the sac measured 5 week 6 days but the Dr is going to stick with the 5 wk 3 day based on my last period. The sonographer said that the sac is low in my uterus, has anyone else experienced this? I go back in a week to check for heartbeat, etc.

I'm 17 + 4 today and was diagnosed early on with placenta previa, which is where baby sits lower down in the uterus  I was on a partial bed rest and couldn't have sex. It did move up on its own at my last visit and does so for most women. Maybe call your doctor and ask if you need to do anything or lack there of if you feel unsure.
