I have a 3-year-old daughter who always preferred feeding from my left breast due to the strange taste and color of milk from my right breast. Now, at two months pregnant, only my left breast is swollen. What could be causing this discrepancy?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

During pregnancy, hormonal changes can cause various symptoms in the breasts, including swelling and tenderness. It is not uncommon for one breast to be more affected than the other. In your case, the preference of your daughter for your left breast may have led to increased stimulation and blood flow in that breast, resulting in more pronounced swelling during pregnancy. Additionally, hormonal changes can affect milk production and composition. The cream white color and funny taste of milk from your right breast may have been due to variations in hormone levels or other factors specific to that breast. As for the current swelling in your left breast, it is likely a normal physiological response to pregnancy hormones. However, if you experience severe pain or notice any unusual lumps or changes in appearance, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation.
