At 23 weeks babies are still quite small and their movements can be really subtle, especially if you're busy or have an anterior placenta. Some days you'll feel lots of little flutters and other days hardly anything – that's normal at this stage. Having a cold drink, a snack or lying quietly on your side can make movements easier to notice. Trust your instincts though; if something doesn't feel right it's always okay to call your midwife or doctor for reassurance.
