How can I determine the gender of my baby? Is there any way to know if I'm having a boy or girl while the baby is still in my uterus?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

While it's not possible to determine the gender of your baby with 100% accuracy while they are still in your uterus, there are some methods that people believe can provide clues. These include ultrasound scans, genetic testing, and old wives' tales. Ultrasound scans are typically done around 18-20 weeks and can sometimes reveal the gender. Genetic testing, such as amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling (CVS), can also provide accurate results but are usually done for medical reasons rather than solely for determining gender. As for old wives' tales, these are based on folklore and have no scientific basis. They include things like the shape of your belly, cravings, and heart rate. However, it's important to remember that these methods are not foolproof and should be taken with a grain of salt. The most reliable way to determine the gender of your baby is through prenatal genetic testing or waiting until birth.
