At 14 weeks your little one is still tucked way down in your pelvis, about the size of a lemon. My midwife couldn’t feel anything from the outside at that stage either they used an ultrasound or a little doppler to hear the heartbeat instead. Doctors don’t usually start measuring fundal height with their hands until around 20 weeks when the uterus has grown above your pubic bone. I remember thinking I could feel tiny flutters at 14 weeks but it turned out to be gas, the real kicks didn’t start until 18‑20 weeks. If your tests are positive and your belly is growing, you’re definitely pregnant. Try not to stress, and if you’re still worried just ask for a scan to put your mind at ease. Early pregnancy is full of confusing signs!
