Why am I experiencing periods-like pain in my lower abdomen at 11 weeks of pregnancy, with no bleeding? Is this normal or should I be concerned?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Experiencing periods-like pain in the lower abdomen during pregnancy can be concerning, but it is not always a cause for alarm. This type of pain is commonly known as round ligament pain and occurs due to the stretching of the ligaments supporting the uterus. It is more common during the second trimester. However, if the pain becomes severe or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, vaginal discharge, or bleeding, it is important to consult your healthcare provider immediately. They will be able to evaluate your condition and provide appropriate guidance. In some cases, abdominal pain could indicate a potential issue such as an ectopic pregnancy or a urinary tract infection. Remember that every pregnancy is unique, so it's essential to trust your instincts and seek medical advice when needed.

hey, i had those period-like cramps around 10-12 weeks too and freaked out  but my midwife said it’s just the uterus stretching and round ligaments doing their thing. your body is making space for baby, so little twinges and pulling feelings are pretty normal. staying hydrated and chilling on the couch helped me. a warm (not hot) water bottle on your lower belly can soothe. if you get sharp pain, fever or spotting though, def call your doc just to be safe.
