I am currently 9 weeks postpartum and I am still experiencing bleeding, which is bright red and comes and goes. Is this a normal occurrence or should I be concerned?

I'd recommend seeing gynaecologist and asking them about it. Myne also lasted for a long time, but it does stop on its own. If there is pain, swelling or a bad smell accompaning the bleeding, then inform the receptionist about it.

Check with a gynecologist, and make sure everything is healing properly.

It could be possible that your body is sending you a signal that it needs more rest as recovery takes time and energy. Remember the place where the placenta detached from is a wound. You can't see it, but its a wound, and recovery is crucial for your long-term health and well-being.

Check with your doctor, though some people justt take longer to heal, I was bleeding for 15 weeks and even my stitches were not healed earlier. Also I started taking the mini pill as birth control at just 3 weeks and that caused me an on and off very light bleeding after my postpartum bleeding stopped, I had to switch birth control
