A walker is actually not recommended because it impedes baby's natural muscle growth.

A walker is handy when your child is starting to walk. That is just a guideline. And 10min at a time supervised and with support, encouragement and play you can use one. Your child needs to be ready to walk, it it just a guide to help them not to spend time in while mom is busy.

Everything is bad if you overdo it except religion and drinking water.

I let my 4 month old play in her walker while I'm working in the kitchen so she can watch me and she absolutely loves it! As long as baby is big enough for it and shows interest in it I don't see a problem with it as long as they're not in it for too long
