How long does it take for a baby's umbilical stump to dry after it falls off?

My baby's umbilical cord fell off at 6 weeks, but there is still a fresh remaining part. How long does it typically take for the remaining part to completely dry and heal?

It depends on the baby body. My first baby lasted for just 2month while my second baby 6weeks

Really that's too long, and you didn't visit your doctor, I think after the val stumb drop the navel should not be more than three weeks before he drys up

my baby 's dropped after 3 weeks but it is also stil there for 37 days, i went to doctor but they said it depend on baby bod, as log s the i o infection there is no problem.
