I'm planning to stop breastfeeding my 16-month-old baby due to her difficulty with solid foods and low weight. She refuses both formula and cow's milk in a bottle. Can you please provide tips and ideas on how to successfully wean her off breastfeeding?

Try leaving your child with someone else for a day or two for some hours(your husband or your mom would be the best idea). She might cry for a while but definitely take the feed in your absence if she is very hungry. She will gradually learn bottle feeding as well. Try keeping her with you in the dining table at the time of your meals. She will gain interest in the food that you take. Make her taste the food that you take as well but make sure you mash them before you feed her. If it doesn't work consult pediatrician concerning her low solid intake.
