Solutions for feeding a baby when the mother's nipples are not properly shaped

What are some solutions for feeding a baby when the mother's nipples are not properly shaped and the baby is unable to suckle, resulting in the use of a bowl and spoon for feeding?

Yes. I had same problem with my baby. My gynaecologist suggested to use nipple shield. You will get it in any medical store. Am sharing the picture of it. After using it for a month or two nipple will form shape and baby will have the habit of sucking too. Because using bowl and spoon is not good as baby will not suck later and will trouble. So go for nipple shield. And use soft one.

U can use pigeon brand.. I used it.. it was really helpful.. always attach nipple shield after dipping it in hot water.. it will stay on easily..

After 1-2 weeks of use, Use nipple shield for 15mins and then make the baby to try taking feed without the shield.. it will be alright within a month..

Try to  use the pump before breastfeeding  around 5 min it will form the nipple properly atleast at this feeding then by time it will form without effort by suckling from baby
