Hiccups is normal in babies they are likely to go away on their own after few mins. there is no way to avoid it. nd they doesnt harm your bsby in anyway

Just rest baby on your shoulder and rub or tap lightly in the center of the back for several minutes that should help

Baby hiccups are perfectly normal and it doesn't bother the baby, it's a reflex and you can't really do anything about it

When hiccups happen, put your baby to your breast. Choose the breast that is fuller, dripping and yet to be suckled that period. The fullness makes your baby suck in gulps. It will clear after a pumped suckling by your baby. It's like drinking water to clear hiccups.  It works for me and my baby who will be  a month old in 4 days time.
