in 6-12 Month Babies by
My son, who weighs 19lbs 8oz, is almost 7 months old and has started eating solids. Previously, he was consuming 6oz of formula every 5 hours. I'm unsure about the duration and quantity of his meals throughout the day. Can you provide guidance on establishing a suitable feeding schedule for him? Tia

Since baby is 7 months old can split into  3 meals  a day .

Once baby wakes up Morning first feed the baby the milk either formula or breastmilk .

After 2hrs to 3hrs can give Ragi or Rava or rice in porridge form with sweatners like Jaggery or palm candy with a teaspoon of ghee.

In the noon after 4 to 5 hrs of gap can give Rice, dhal with vegetables along with a teaspoon of ghee in mashed form.

Initially you can use moongdhal , vegetables like carrot, beans, pumpkin, tomato .

Add 1 clove garlic, pinch of hing nd little jeera .

In the evening after 5hrs of gap give fruits mashed or Puree form .

Like steamed apple or sapota or banana .

In the night give milk .

The quantity can be a small bowl feed the baby until it rejects.
