My baby has developed a small patch of cradle cap on the top of his head, under his hair. He hasn't experienced any hair loss on the affected area, only on the back and sides. Should I consider using almond oil to treat the cradle cap, or should I wait for it to resolve naturally?

My doctor said to gentle brush the scales off with coconut oil about few minutes before washing baby. Then was wash off the scales with baby shampoo or whatever lotion you are using. His cradle cap is gone but it will eventually go away after a few months. My baby boy is 2 months now
