Is it safe and appropriate to start introducing solid foods to a baby at the age of 4 months? What are the potential risks and benefits associated with early introduction of solids? Are there any specific guidelines or recommendations for introducing solids at this age?

You can if baby is not too good with weight, then you can start testing first foods. But consult also with the doctor

You can give only if the doctor says it's okay. If the baby is not gaining weight and had some good head control. Waiting until 6 months is best. If your breastfeeding maybe try supplementing with formula first before introducing soild foods
