I am concerned about experiencing diarrhea during my pregnancy. What could be the cause of this? Is it something to worry about?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

Experiencing diarrhea during pregnancy is not uncommon and can be caused by various factors. Hormonal changes, dietary changes, and prenatal vitamins can all contribute to digestive issues. However, if you are experiencing severe or persistent diarrhea, it is important to consult your healthcare provider as it could be a sign of an underlying condition or infection that needs medical attention. It is also crucial to stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet during this time.

Oh I remember being 14 wks and having a couple days of loose stools and freaking out too. Hormones can really mess with your digestion and it can swing between constipation and diarrhoea. In my case it was prob something I ate + the prenatals, my midwife said not to stress. I stuck to bland foods (BRAT diet, like bananas, rice, apple sauce and toast), drank lots of water w/ a pinch of salt/sugar and it settled down in a day or two. If you can't keep fluids down, see blood or have cramps/fever then def ring your doc, but the odd tummy upset seems to be pretty normal in pregnancy.
