in Tests at Pregnancy by anonymous
Hi. I tested myself today and it came out positive, however I'm not fully convinced about it. Is it possible that I could be getting a positive test that is wrong? This is my first time taking a pregnancy test and I've heard they can sometimes be inaccurate. Can you provide more information on the reliability of home pregnancy tests?

Home pregnancy tests are generally reliable when used correctly, but there is still a small chance of false positives or negatives. False positives are rare but can occur due to certain medications or medical conditions. It's important to follow the instructions carefully and take the test at the right time for accurate results. If you're unsure about your result, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional who can perform further testing to confirm your pregnancy status.

Best way to know is if you know when you were due your period. How many days over you are and if test is positive then retest a few days later
