Is it safe to consume dry fruits, such as nuts, during the first trimester of pregnancy? Are there any potential risks or benefits associated with eating these foods at this stage?
Artificial Intelligence Health Assistant's Answer

It is generally safe to consume dry fruits, including nuts, during the first trimester of pregnancy. In fact, they can provide essential nutrients and energy for both the mother and the developing baby. Dry fruits are a good source of healthy fats, protein, fiber, vitamins (such as vitamin E), and minerals (such as iron and magnesium). However, it is important to consume them in moderation and choose unsalted varieties to avoid excessive sodium intake. Additionally, some pregnant women may have allergies or sensitivities to certain types of nuts. If you have any concerns or medical conditions that require dietary restrictions, it is best to consult with your healthcare provider before adding dry fruits to your diet.
